We're heading towards the nightmare scenario I've feared for several years. Since Bush, Obama and the world would do nothing about the nuclear threat, Israel will act alone. Iran will strike back hard, and Israel will begin to lose. A couple other Muslim countries could seize the opportunity to divert their citizens' attention from their own messes and join in. The US and Europe will be forced to act. In all of this, Israel might use nuclear weapons. Expect a teetering world economy to collapse, thus bringing the chaos home.

This could get ugly, really ugly, and all because the world didn't stop the problem 5+ years ago. A thousand things could happen to change everything, such as the people of Iran rioting and the country descending into chaos, so no one really can predict anything with certainty. Yet the possibility that this is a trigger event that plunges the world into chaos should frighten the world into acting now and not let Israel act alone.
