How ridiculous that you think it was Rick Perry, not Bill Hader, an actor on SNL who said that. I guess you think Sarah Palin really said, "I can see Alaska from my Front Porch", instead of Tina Fey in an SNL skit.
I happen to like SNL in spite of their obvious liberal bias and at times, they can make fun of their own (i.e. Clinton, Obama) just as savagely as they make fun of conservatives. However, it is disturbing that many Americans cannot separate the parody of SNL from real-life. There are millions of people who truly believe that Sarah Palin really did say "I can see Russia from my front porch" and that Gerry Ford really did trip and fall about 20 times a day during his presidency. (He tripped the one time down some slippery stairs coming off Air Force One and was actually quite agile and athletic for most of his life).
I don't really have a lot of respect for people who quote SNL skits as fact - it tells me that they are not very intelligent people.
