I’ve been reading the Reachers since they first came out, so I ran and looked at some of the titles and looked at it as if I had not read the them and I think you’re right. Thor and Flynn did the same kind of thing in the middle of their series and I took it for granted how much the “prequels” made sense, but only because I was already immersed in the worlds.

I agree with Scoutmaster: Go with Killing Floor first.

Thanks for the reminder S. When looking at a series to recommend, look at it like you are reading them for the first time...

I don't remember how I happened upon the first Child book at the bookstore...

..but it was 61 hours...(however I figured out who the 'killer' was about midway)..

..but I was so gobsmacked by the easy narrative....the strong & infinitely unique man that is Reacher....and the excellent portrayal of all the characters, the place, the feel....

..I was instantly smitten.....just got lost in the book.

My next was Worth Dying For....

..then One Shot--(didn't see that one coming!).

...Just finished Bad Luck and Trouble......and I also have lined up Gone Tomorrow and Nothing to Lose

If you've never read Daniel Silva books about Gabriel Allon (Israeli spy)...I highly recommend the series!!!!!!
