Both NIXON and WALLACE (Third Party Conservative) did this with some success against the Demoncrats in 1968, with Nixon taking the race, and with Wallace sweeping the south, all on the issue of "Law and Order", and Hubert Humphrey was left there standing with his >>>>> in the wind.

I said this weeks ago, too. When and if the Occupy movement turns violent and starts to lose American jobs, like blocking legitimate small businesses and/or scaring off their customer base, blocking international port operations, vandalizing places, then you use a split screen of Obongo proudly proclaiming support for the "Occupy" movement, along with the most violent images of the movement sharing the screen with The Messiah. Then you close with cutting the two split/screen images off and go right to a square, face-on view with the Candidate (Dick Nixon did this with voice over, George Wallace with direct camera at a podium) and say that "the period of extensive Obama-instigated and irresponsible "Lawlessness in the Streets of our Land" will come to an abrupt end and we will have a president who supports the rule of law if you elect me as your President."

If I were in the Cain Campaign, I would start the ad copy on the TV ads NOW.

It is only a matter of time that this grows more and more violent and anarchist and the vast majority of the American People will find these gatherings to be repugnant, as well as many will have fear about them. These ads can be made to be very professional and effective, with use of background, dramatic music and the like. -- AiT©

Just barely. Humphrey came within a scratch of beating Nixon, Wallace notwithstanding.

The GOP needs to be far more decisive than they have given any reason to expect, in these twilight days of the Republic.
