This morning in London, Sony Pictures had a big press conference about the next James Bond movie, the one that has been rumored and delayed and speculated about for months upon years.

Have we truly and honestly not had enough Bond movies ? Since we aint gonna see any more Sean Connery or Roger Moore Bond movies, it kinda got pointless ages ago.

Indeed she was. And one of the best. “Diamonds Are Forever” was almost as much her movie as it was Sean Connery’s.

Not to mention no more U.S.S.R..Dalton’s debut film “The Living Daylights” and Craig’s debut film “Casino Royale” are in my top 5 Bond films but the majority of the 007 output made post-Connery/Lazenby/Moore era is vastly inferior to the earlier classics of the 1962-1983 period.

Nonetheless, MGM knows they can make any action film they want and if it says James Bond on it, they’ll make a buck.
