I think there is some truth in this piece. I think Cain's handling of the matter was possibly less than it could have been. But I also think that is a tack taken by those who want to hype the story without supporting the actual allegation.

I also think Cain will not lose a single existing supporter over this. Will anyone remember this in 63 days? I am not so sure. Memories are short.

This may give large donors pause, but I am not sure Cain has many of those anyway.

We’ll remember in 63 days, because it will be repeated over and over in every story about Cain by the leftist media and Rove regardless of the validity . Just like Rove is still bringing up minor flaps about Cain from 5 months ago while ignoring Romney’s disastrous turn against the Ohio Republican union bill and his flip/flop/flip on global warming.

The DC beltway media is so predictable, but unfortunately also can be quite effective.

I disagree. Experience tells us that the more you get bogged down in answering allegations the greater the “Tar Baby” effect. Obama had serious questions raised in his campaign and simply laughed them off as beneath him to respond. It worked. Of course, MSM was on his side, too.
