In the 1990s the Feminist movement was on a witch-hunt. Even complimenting a woman on her dress was considered harassment.

I TRUST Cain.

I am just glad that Anthony Weiner didn’t do something horrible like this. :)

True enough.

These days most women who act out with the malicious and unsubstantiated "sexual harassment charges are correctly viewed as mentally ill.

The higher levels of management used to go along with these ol' gals and that created a sort of reign of terror.

The Washington Post saw both Juan Williams and Richard Cohen charged by women on the operations side ~ who they likely never worked with professionally. Yet, internal review people held both of them to be guilty ~ guilty ~ guilty ~ guilty.

You don't see that so much anymore.

I saw a case once where a woman who'd had relations with a fellow manager several hundred times convinced management to give her a promotion and a relocation.

The top boss making the decision was, of course, a mind-numbed, robot-like, knee-jerk Leftwingtard WOMAN!

All of this created a long term problem for women as managers ~ to wit, none of them can ever be trusted to be rational, and your female co-workers should NEVER be allowed into personal off-duty conversations with "the guys".

Obviously that's not true in all cases but who wants to take a chance.

Yep, in the early 90s I was a National Sales VP for a company and HP was one of our re-sellers and I was making the rounds of sales districts.

Somewhere in Ohio, a 8 month pregnant woman {an HP employee, and at an HP office} and I were smoking {back then there were designated rooms for smokers} and talking about what a bad habit smoking was.

I remarked that since she was pregnant that there were at least two reasons that she shouldn't be smoking.

The woman brought sexual harassment charges against me.

My company had to get an outside legal firm involved {they didn't want to upset HP by using our internal lawyers} and it cost tens of thousands for legal fees and a sixty thousand dollar settlement and not one thing sexual was ever done, said, inferred, implied, suggested or even thought.

This pregnant woman was as ugly as a mud fence and looking at her and thinking anything sexual was never close to my mind.

It was way cheaper to pay and today I don't know her name, which city I was in, and if I stated a year I may be wrong on the year.

Time distorts everybody's memory and 15 years ago is a long time.
