~Happy November Everyone~
Gathering For Winter
I found so many acorns
Under the falling leaves
I’ll gather some quickly
And take them home with me
I have no mate or offspring
No friends or family near
So, I don’t need too many
I’ll just leave some of them here
Autumn will soon be in the past
That is clear to see
But I’ll have plenty of acorns
And I won’t go hungry
I’ll stay warm and fed
And just enjoy my Winter life
But, I’ll be back again next year
Perhaps, with a wife!

What a wonderful opening. I certainly associate with that great poem NNB wrote! He's a great writer. Guess what I did this morning? I went back to Nov. 1st of last year to see what we all were doing. Its interesting to be able to look back. We were doing about the same thing...enjoying Amy's Place!! Thanks Amy, for a lovely place for us, even those days we don't feel like getting on here. We appreciate you and the hard work you do!

The leaves are starting to fall from our Modesto Ash tree in the front yard. The leaves are also falling from our neighbor’s plum tree in the back yard - well, I should correct that. We don’t really have a back “yard”. The “yard” is a swimming pool so I’ll be cleaning the pool everyday for a month or two.
