When my sister was very ill, right before she died, another sister came from Oregon to be here with her.

Sitting in my kitchen having tea one morning, she asked when we were going to " resume" the remodeling we began in 2006!!!... I developed a life threatening case of shingles and the remodel was put on hold.....and on hold....and on hold!!

She said "give me a trowel and mud and I will get you started!!!" ..the rest is history.

out came the cabinets,off came the flooring, etc etc....and dishes in the bathtub is right. Not fun when the bathtub is upstairs!!!

Dust is EVERYWHERE...

I feel your pain with the shingles issue...been there and done that one as well. Not a fun thing.

Sanding of the cupboards was really stressful with all the dust but at least my bathtub was downstairs...lol. Thank goodness!
