Great field level camera work that shows you what it is actually like to be on the field at the end of a game like that. You hear every sound and see every player chest bump.

Ooops! Fumble on the play! Bad link!
I'm still trying to buy that acreage in the endzone where Preston Gothard caught the pass. Hell no we don't forget! Roll Tide Roll

Wasn’t there another play in another year at PSU where Bama got equally screwed on a play at one of the sidelines?

Thank you for showing a picture of that accurately called touchdown.

It’s not just the snow.

There has been trouble with attendance all year, with
the main culprit being the new STEP seating program.

The students should have no trouble with driving to the game, but the student section really took a step down a few years ago with the introduction of a new ticketing system.

Some people also somewhat blame Penn State for now admitting so many wealthy students from New Jersey and New York who have no clue about Penn State football, college football, and football in general.

Could well be. Probably in that '85 game. It just hasn't carried that "lasting sting" that the '83 game did. Nor the satisfaction of Thomas Rayham's '89 Block or of course the Goal Line Stand of '79! Over the years there have been some truly great games. Go back and look at the '85 game, wow, that's football.

I recall standing on the ramp in '90 at Tuscaloosa watching Joe Pa and team enter the Stadium for what was supposed to be the end of the rivalry. PSU Nine, Bama Naught that day, six yards on the ground! But what I'll remember most was thinking, "sacrifice this series for the cush of a non-conference scheduled wimp".
Any hoot great to have the rivalry renewed!

One should remember that the series hit its stride in the decade of the eighties, while Bama was going through, let's just say some changes as Penn State was having arguably their best teams ever. Look at the '86 National Championship team. They pummeled a Ray Perkins Alabama team 23-3. I'll bet Bama goes with two tight ends this Saturday and grinds out a win over Lucy U. Oughta be a "guud'un!
Ah! NCAA football, only in America!

Id like to see Bama beat LSU; Oklahoma State lose and Oregon run the table. That would almost assure an Oregon v. Bama BCS Championship game; and I think Oregon would win this year.
