Just a simple, open thread for discussion:
Now I'm moving on, and ready to retrofit my car with a new one:
Herman Cain. Looking please for graphics for a Cain bumper sticker (can make my own) or sources please for his official ones.
Thank you very much.
Unless you buy from hermancain.com/store, they are near impossible to get.
I used shoe Polish on the back window of my SUV.
I drive up and down I4 corridor of central Florida. I have been getting honks and thumbs up.
I encourage all to make your signs. Use Your ingenuity until his campaign gets off the ground in your state.
You can also call his campaign headquarters in stockbridge GA.
I prefer to buy from the official Cain campaign store to give him my dough BUT cafe Press has better selections. If ‘GTFO 2012’ was offered at Cain’s site, I would have bought it there..
You’ll notice I put the official Cain store first!
:D
I am going to see if Kinko’s does stickers. I just looked up decals in yellow pages. Some companies will make them up for you.
(I mentioned this on another thread today)
Freeper posted one a few days ago. It said “Our Black Is Better Than Your Black”. I didn’t save it. Maybe someone could post it.
Our Black Guy Is Better Than Your Black GUY
Jeez....
If the purpose is to influence potential voters in a positive fashion, a sticker like that isn’t it.
“Beat Obama with a Cain!”
That’s a winner!
I’ve made several respectable bumper stickers the last few years, from images I’ve seen right here on FR.
I’ve dropped the .jpg or .gif onto a generic document. Loaded what’s called “bumper sticker” paper stock on my color printer, and simply printed it out.
The hardest part is neatly cutting the edges. Once you’ve got that challenge out of the way, you put your new homemade bumper sticker on a couple sheets of yesterday’s newspaper on your porch, and spray it several times with clear spray paint. Pausing to let each coat dry, and paying attention to the edges.
Once it’s prepped this way, peel off the backing and you’ve got a bumper sticker which says whatever it was, you downloaded off of ... FR. :)
I assure you, it works and looks quite nice.
The end result is not perfectly waterproof, so you’ll probably want to change to a new copy after a month or two, but by that time you’ll probably have a new favorite anyway.
I’ll look through the posted links. Thanks all.
www.cafepress.com has a lot of good ones. I like “Honky for Cain”, “Cain is able!”, to name just two. I’m a Cainiac. :0)
