"Women's activist Mavis Leno and CNN Muslim producer dialogue in Dallas," by Dina Malki for the Examiner, October 24:
At the 26th annual Dallas Womens Foundations luncheon, Mavis Leno, wife of talk show's comedian Jay Leno, shared with the audience accounts about her journey into activism to help empower Afghani women and girls under the Taliban regime....

She’s been carefully guided by someone to come to that conclusion. In a technical sense, one could make the case that the Koran outlines specific rights for women that the Bible does not (inheritance, etc). But it also spells out very plainly woman’s subordinate status. The way I put it in a college paper of mine was, “Before Islam, woman was flat on her face. Islam raised her up to her knees. And that’s where it keeps her.”
You can say it again!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear on my life I only hit the button once! But I sat and watched it load and load and load, and I thought “Uh oh...”
Knock it off with the spamming!

I think Mrs. Leno is trying to say that if Islam is in the right hands, it would work. Its kind of like the left believing communism in the right hands will work.
I hate this computer.
There’s no way Mavis Leno read that website or anything like it. Islam is a straight pedophile’s dream.
“I hate this computer.”
That would be a great topic for a thread.
