"A couple stayed in their home during the Bastrop, TX fires and noticed huge amount of hummingbirds coming to feed. Captured Biologists say the birds were migrating and the fires and drought had killed their usual flowers"

My wife put out a HB feeder two years ago. I’d never seen a h’bird in the wild before she put one out. I was utterly amazed to see a regular throng of h’birds sucking on the two feeders we have. Amazing little birds. We always watch whenever they appear.

My favorite birds. I’ve only ever seen them at my brother’s feeder.
