Listening to good baseball announcers call a great game has always been something special. It must be something unique to the subtle and incredibly tactical game of baseball. It’s not the same with any other sport. Last night was a great example, listening to a good baseball announcer makes you smarter.. I never felt that way with say John Madden or god help us all, Troy Aikman.

Can’t wait for the grand finale.

I have to wonder, then, what listen to Orel Hershiser will do. I was listenin in on ESPN radio last night. What a gas bag.

LOL!

Baseball has often been referred to as a game of chess on a sports field.

Problem is, this guy announces it like it was a real chess game.

Yawn.
