Sorry, it’s just I’ve had to deal with the harridans. Our scoutmaster resigned and the whole group left with him, because they would not let him continue on as a scoutmaster (as he had been for 20 years), and stay boys-only.
We all went with him, and continued to do the activities unofficially.
I went back 10 years later and they had one troop of 3 people. 1 troop, where they had hundred of kids previously.
“Why do I have this feeling that it isn’t the little boy who wants it, it’s his parents pushing for this. At age 7 they don’t know what they want unless it’s the latest new toy.”
