Posted on 10/25/2011 8:43:15 AM PDT by MichaelP

Who do you favor to run for the U.S. Senate in Michigan against Stabenaw, Hoekstra or Durand?

TOPICS: Local News; Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: durand; hopekstra; michigan; senate
Is there a concensus choice?

The real problem is the fact that I know absolutely nothing about Durand.

Hoekstra!

Nobody smarter on Defense and Intel issues, and we need him there just for that. (offset Jane Harmon....!)

I know he’s not an across the board conservative, but his background on intel/defense can’t be replaced.

Even with RINO tendencies Hoekstra is well to the right of John McCain, let alone Stabenow.

Stabenau will beat Hoekstra. She has a “mom” personality and doesn’t present as a politician. Hoekstra comes across as a bully and profiles as a DC insider. Plus Hoekstra was damaged by being tossed in the governor primary last election and he hasn’t had the sense to talk economy - it’s all intel and foreign policy with him. Michigan already has that with Levin.

Durand is the choice if Michigan Republicans want a win.

sbMKE is in Wisconsin and should be ignored. He’s got some little vendetta against Hoekstra and quite frankly can kiss Michigan’s collective butt and worry about his own state.

Stabenau will beat Hoekstra. She has a brain-dead unionized assembly line worker personality...................
