Remember, it is perfectly legal for THEM to lie to you to get a confession when they have no case, but anything they perceive as misinformation from YOU they can prosecute you for as perjury..... I notice you're a "Class of 2005 Freeper." A prison lawyer too?
There should be the word "oath" in there somewhere for "perjury" to kick in...

Very simple , Scooter Libby.
Lying to a police officer is a crime. Them lying to you to get a confession is 100% legal and considered standard procedure.
I saw the story of the 15 year old teen who they held for 24 hours ( after taken into protective custody from parents) and told every lie in the book to get him to sign a confession to murder. He was lucky though, they video-taped it and the defense showed the tapes to the jury.
