11/13/60 "The Bad One Matter" Matter #714 Bob Bailey, Larry Dobkin (Pat McCracken), James McCallion (Culpepper Walker), Forrest Lewis (Andy Fisher), Russell Thorson (Percy "Tet" Van Ashworthy Tetweiler), Sam Edwards (Pete McQuire); Writer/Producer/Director - Jack Johnstone ; Announcer - John Wald ; Expense Account Total = $231.20 ; Pat McCracken, Universal Adjustment Bureau, puts 38 year old Johnny Dollar in touch with Culpepper Walker of the Mono-Guarantee Insurance Company, of Little Rock, Arkansas. Ambrose W. Brierly, insured for $50,000 was killed near Milltown, and $17,000 of cotton mill payroll was stolen. Teenager Pete McQuire was caught running from the scene. Police Chief Andy Fisher of Milltown killed Pete's father in the line of duty during a robbery. Johnny hatches a plan with public defender Percy "Tet" Van Ashworthy Tetweiler, to get Pete to talk. Pete says that the chief of police killed Brierly, and Johnny believes him, especially as he and Pete escape from Pete's house where Chief Fisher tried to burn them down (CBS) (22:16)

9/17/49 "James Vickers - Cop Killing" Program #16 Jack Webb (Joe Friday), Barton Yarborough (Ben Romero), Raymond Burr (Ed Backstrand), ; Writers - James E. "Jim" Moser ; Technical Advice - W.A. Warden, acting Chief of the L.A. Police Department ; NBC ; Police officer John Beamus has been shot three times in the lungs while he was directing traffic. One suspect, James Vickers, has been caught and another remains at large. Friday and Romero are working homicide. They talk to the dying Beamus in the hospital and learn that the shots came unprovoked from men in a grey coupe. Vickers will not reveal who else was in the car when Beamus was shot. Vickers makes a break for it and gets gunned down. Friday and Romero meet with Chief of Detectives Ed Backstrand. Word comes in that Vickers was staying at the Silver Dollar Hotel on East Grand. Friday and Romero go there and speak to the landlord, Luther Gage. The landlord says that Vickers had a friend named Raymond Knight who has the room next to him at the Hotel. Knight has a friend staying with him. The friend is in and has a .45. The friend is subdued in a scuffle with Friday and Romero. He is Frank Gannon from Kansas City, Missouri. Friday and Romero learn that Raymond Knight is in reality Vance Taylor. Gannon denies knowing Vickers. They take him to the morgue to view the body. Friday tells Gannon that Knight is picked up and he is willing to sing about him as soon as he arrives at the police station. Friday and Romero play a game of cards while the pressure builds on Gannon. Gannon cracks. He tells Friday and Romero about a payroll of the payroll messenger of Frazier Manufacturing Company that was planned after he left the Second National Bank. Friday calls the bank and learns that the Frazier messenger just left the bank with the money. The police converge on the area between the bank and the Frazier Company. The catch the robbers in the act. The robbers flee with Friday and Romero in pursuit. Guns are fired and the robbers are dropped. (Sus.) (NBC) (29:30)

2/14/53 "The Round-Up" Program #43 William Conrad (Matt Dillon), Parley Baer (Chester Proudfoot), Howard McNear (Doc Charles Adams), Georgia Ellis (Kitty), John Dehner (Zall Matlock), Harry Bartell, Lawrence Dobkin, Lou Krugman, James Nusser ; Director - Norman Macdonnell ; Writer - John Meston ; Music Composer/Conductor - Rex Koury ; Announcer - Roy Rowan ; Chester has sprained both ankles, and is confined to the office. Torp, the owner of a gambling joint, and Summers ask Dillon to deputize 20 men because the round-up is due. Matt refuses. Later, Kitty says that she witnessed Torp and others cutting cards with the low-man supposed to kill Dillon. Matt wants to close down Front Street to prevent a swarm of rowdy cowhands from taking over the town. However, this move is very unpopular with local merchants who want the cowboys' money. Matt calls in his old friend Zall Matlock to help him fend off the celebrating mob. In a mass of confusion and gunfire, Matt kills Torp and then he accidentally shoots Zall, killing him. The bloodletting stirs up the cowboys. Single-handedly Matt closes down the Texas Trail, the Long Horn, Oasis, Alafergansza, and then the smaller saloons on the outskirts of town including Torp's. Matt buries Zall, and then marks the cross he will have to bear for the rest of his life - he cuts a single notch in his gun. (Sus.) (CBS) (28:56)
