The fictional character, Nero Wolfe, is known for his excellent vocabulary, and many years ago, I expanded mine by reading those books.

I often wonder if Rush Limbaugh read those books. Sometimes I hear Rush say a word that I only ever heard in the Nero Wolfe books.

I think you’re right. I’m pretty certain Rush has cited Nero Wolfe mysteries on a couple of occasions over the years. As a result I picked up a couple of the Rex Stout books.
