You'll see the value he brings when he doesn't have a supporting cast. In the current state of the Broncos, the standard for Tebow will naturally be Elway. John Elway repeatedly brought the Broncos to the superbowl in years when there were no other players much better than average on the team. He couldn't win a super bowl all by himself, for those he had to have a good team around him, but the early years he picked up the team and carried them. For a Bronco fan, that is the standard, fair or not.
The Denver team that Tebow plays for would beat any Florida Gator team by 3 or 4 touchdowns. It’s not the surrounding players, he’s in effect a rookie quarterback who’s going to have some growing pains adapting to the NFL game. I’m indifferent to Tebow, I wish him success like I would any other player (except when he plays the Bears).
Well Tebow isn't at Florida. He's in the big leagues now, and he has to win with what he has.
