I’ve got a 2005 Silverado Duramax with 38K miles on it.
For a diesel that’s like a vette with 13 miles. ;-)
From a car forum: This is from one of the news stations in my area, and Bill Shields did the story yesterday.
The tires were flat so they pumped them up and pushed it out of the barn, then flat-bedded it back to Plymouth where they changed the totally dead battery. It still had a half tank of 33 year old gas in it, but luckily it didn't hurt the car. When they got the new battery in it, it fired right up (they added stabilizer to the old gas). It's basically a brand new 1978 Limited Edition 25 Year Anniversary Corvette, just like the one for the Indy 500. They made one for every Chevy dealer in the country, 6,502. . black and silver T-top, 350 - V8. Of course, this was six years after all the emissions hardware had been added and stacked into place. So, a lot of the 'muscle' had gone bye-bye by then. But, it was still a quick car.
