Yup. And notice, not a single word about the way gun control has been eviscerated over the same time period, and no open comment section where this obvious intentional omission could be pointed out.

Unless it's buried in the text, the article didn't point to cities where violent crime has not fallen. Of course, it there are statistics showing Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, . . . bucking the trend, that would be nice epidemiological data to suggest armed citizens are the reason. I rather favor the competing explanation that violent video games have cut the rate of violent crime by providing a cathartic release for young men's violent urges:
