The weird thing is that I checked the reviews of this Walmart flounder and most hate it. Either my palate is wildly different from others or my wife is just a great cook. She is at her culinary best when cooking fish.

Reviews probably depend on the individual shipment of fish. The quality of each shipment could vary.

I tried frozen tilapia just once, because the price was right. It was awful. Must have been farm-raised in the finest Chinese cesspool. One bite, threw the rest out. It wasn't fit for a cat to eat. It wasn't fit for a hog to eat, for that matter.

There are many different types of flounder. Does the package have any information, such as a generic "Atlantic" "Pacific", or "Alaskan"?

I don't know of any farm raised flounder or sole. I don't think it's done.
