Guess someone needs to play the video of Frank blocking reform of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac calling it “politically motivated” or publish Dodd’s corrupt dealings with the big shots in the Financial sector.
Or perhaps Frank can explain his boyfriend’s getting a nice post at Fannie Mae in exchange for his help? Or Pelosi’s son’s cushy job at CountryWide?
Let’s not forget the intimidation of government agency officials and auditors who desperately tried to tell Congress that something was really wrong at Fannie and Freddie and were smeared for doing so.
Not to mention that Dodd and Frank insisted that there was no “implied taxpayer bailout” if Fannie and Freddie were to encounter financial difficulties.
