Really, he is the most qualified man for the office. He stands head and shoulders above everyone else in the race. In a debate with Obama he would systematically dismantle him and reduce him to a quivering bowl of self-pity and excuses.

As I have said elsewhere, it's too bad that he has so much baggage--mostly of his own making. He has just too often shown poor judgment in his personal life and in taking public positions on the issues. When he confines himself to talking policy and solutions, he is the best.

I have always liked Newt and was always trying to cut him slack while a lot here went postal on him. He is almost always the smartest man in the room. But he has mass baggage. I am wondering if he is angling for some other position with his repeated attacks on the media. I don’t know what cabinet position that would be, but he would certainly be an awesome cabinet member. Maybe he is going for VP attack dog slot. Not sure. I still like Newt, I just think his chances of becoming President are very slim.

I believe Newt is just a bit of a fair weather fan. Kinda goes where the wind blows. Now that it is open season on government, he attacks the same people he went along with. He could be another shill, a dummy front for the status quo since he is very malleable.

It is one thing to sit down and talk with reason, be civil, logical, rational along with having good judgement. It is another thing to be a pawn.

They need to look at the root of the problem. That is when Clinton and Rubin who put the fix in on the real estate market by demanding banks give loans to poor people and ignore the “racist” loan qualification standards. The banksters got deregulation in exchange for crashing the real estate market.

But Newt is very good and swinging facts together. Except when it comes to algore’s nonsense and globalism’s “third way.”
