Tthis reminds me of a story told me recently by an acquaintenance about a molestation that happened in the early fifties. Little girl was visiting her sis and husband. The sis went to the store and came home to find husband molesting her little sis. She called family, they came for the little girl and were horrified.

Hubby was picked up, questioned, released on bail pending trial. Next morning, he was found to have "committed suicide" by putting a bullet in his right temple. The only trouble was, he was left handed. Who knows? I suspect the wife did it; the police were happiy to be rid of scum; no one looked further.

Down side, the girl grew into an adult who distrusted all men and can't remember her childhood--just blocked it all right out.
