Zombies and vampires have long been popular monsters, but for some years now we’ve just been deluged with them in pop culture. I wonder if there’s a particular reason for the heightened fascination.
Because they have been humanized. Meaning they have been portrayed as having feelings like human beings.

I have a theory that's semi-serious. I think it has to do with conditioning people to believe that a resurrection of the dead is somehow evil.
