Rays through the clouds.
Very calming and beautiful photos, Cripplecreek! The second picture reminds me of what my Mother use to say: “The Gates of Heaven are open”. When we were just little kids and saw rays through the clouds, she would say that God was calling the newly passed home to Him. He was illuminating the way to Heaven. Sounds corny, huh?! Well, I have told that same story to my three and now when they see the rays.. one will yell, “Look, the Gates of Heaven are open”.
Beautiful! As is the image in the OP. I have been working on our vacation photos from TX and NM from this summer and have been slow to get them posted on flickr, altho I didn’t take as many as usual as I was not feeling well. Got a few cool ones of clouds and light rays and such. The skies can be quite magnificent. Love yours of the light washing thru the clouds. Nice job. :)
