Game One goes to the Rangers.....great game. I think we’re in for a real good series.

Feliz was darned near un-hittable in the ninth. That’s about as dominant as he’s been all year.
Having Ogando in the bullpen is huge, as well.

I’ve never seen anything like this, literally the rain stops at the Tarrant-Dallas County line....Fort Worth is getting pummeled with rain, while Dallas is getting nada, it’s like there’s a barrier right at the county line.

Yeah I watched the rest of the game from a horizontal position but was thinking the same. This will be another long series.
If the big bats of the Tigers ever wake up they’ll end it in a hurry but the runs in the post season are mostly coming from the top and bottom of the order.

We've had similar 'rain chains' like that in New England. where it is like a river flowing south to north...a little to the east or west, not much. But if you are under the flow; look out. Several years ago; that happened with a temperature of 30 outside...the ice was horrific.
Interesting to note that Texas had a MISERABLE record in one-run games during the year (Even Feliz blew the save in six games); but when it really counts; they have won three in a row. Go figure.

Advantage: Tigers. We all know how well Hamilton does in day games. Of course; he wasn’t much of a factor last night, either. Kind of early to be canceling a game, isn’t it?

Rain looked like a pretty much sure thing and apparently the field is saturated.

yes, I had XM radio on, broadcasting the Brewers radio network (as I was in the car) and Mr Baseball Bob Uecker
was mentioning it: “they have had a really bad drought down there for some time. So they’ll play that one tomorrow.”
