It is nice to see a complete game. I think every pitcher should be expected to pitch all 9 innings.. unless they are not doing very good and need replaced. The pitch count thing is silly !

Yep, that was an awesome 9 inning performance by Carpenter. But most of the innings were 3 up 3 down. I wonder how many pitches he threw? Regardless, a great performance. And he looked like he had a few more innings in him.
