agreed- and while i love Palin and would’ve supported her to the end, the way she bailed as govenor of Alaska, didn’t see it through and make the sacrifice necessary made her unelectable with the independents, who are vital next November...
Yes, as you safely type your condescension from behind your keyboard.
Really easy to ask someone else to sacrifice their life because YOU deem it necessary.
No. Palin decided to not run because she didn’t want to, or her kids didn’t want her to, or she felt it wasn’t the right time or she felt she would be better at promoting conservative ideas with out running or who cares it was her decision and as much as you may want it to be it was not about you.
Palin was my first choice and I really hoped she would run, I am disappointed she choice not to, however I respect her enough to accept that she is not.
So stop whining about it.
All elections are important, and this one is no more a “war” than any other election. Comparing a presidential election to the Revolutionary War severely downplays the efforts of our founders.
Plenty of people make the choice to keep their family morale high over a career boost, in fact, that would probably be the most socially conservative thing you could do. If she came down to asking her kids, it either shows that she wasnt in it 100% to begin with, or that she holds her family as a more important aspect of her life than career advancement.
This election is important and it is a war. So what are YOU going to do to win? Instead of looking for leaders, it's time for us to lead ourselves and do what we can to make sure things go in the right direction.
