I like Bachmann’s constitutional stance, but she’s losing any traction she had.
I like Cain, not sure I like 9-9-9, though. Too gimmicky, too much government meddling. Wish he’d stick to cutting and disbanding unconstitutional agencies and programs, cut the spending, cut the reach of government, cut the regulations, cut the taxes, phase out SS and Medicare, repeal ObamaCare, repeal the 16th and abolish the IRS. We don’t need no stinking high taxes or 9-9-9 if we simply abide by the constitution and cut the damned government.
And if Perry’s the one who wins the nomination, I’ll support him. I think the vaccination issue is a tempest in a teapot and the rock is even less. The real problem is the fence and the in-state tuition and I believe he’s now seeing that the rest of America doesn’t agree with his stance on those issues even if the Texas State legislators did. He’s now being taken to the woodshed on that. We’ll see how he adjusts and if his adjustment is sincere. I’m hoping he sees the light. He’s had a lot of executive experience, seems to be well liked by the majority of the voters in Texas (a great conservative state) and appears to have some great successes there even in a down economy.
And I’m with you all the way against Romney. No way in hell would I support that lying, card-carrying progressive SOB even if he wins the nomination!

I agree with your assessment of Perry. I could support him if he hardens his immigration stance.

Me too, Bachmann has the respect and reverence for the Constitution that ANY candidate should have. I think her selection of Ed Rollins to "help her out" did exactly that, it "helped her on the way out", sadly.

9-9-9 does sound like a gimmick Jim, but unfortunately it is "gimmicks" that seem to grab the attention of the electorate, in 2008 it was that absurd 'hope & change' crap that the Magic Kenyan managed to parlay into his first and only term in the White House. Cain DOES know one thing (one of many things), and that is MARKETING. He knows how to come up with a marketing campaign (call it a 'gimmick') that will resonate with people, and '9-9-9' is in this case, that gimmick. People want fair taxation. But try and explain the flat tax, or the fair tax, or any sort of revised tax, and the average voter's eyes glaze over inside of 30 seconds. '9-9-9' is something they remember, and it might be a gimmick but if it leads to true tax reform, it could be a method that works.

My concerns with Perry are the immigration and border issues and how he adjusts his views will tell the tale. The one thing that Perry has that no other candidate has, is true electoral clout. If Perry were the nominee, it is a given that he would carry his home state of Texas, and the 'Rats would not have a prayer of beating him on his home turf.
And Im with you all the way against Romney. No way in hell would I support that lying, card-carrying progressive SOB even if he wins the nomination!
Romney needs to meet the same electoral fate as his father George did in '68.
How am I doin' so far, Boss? ;)

I caught Perry in Iowa City tonite. Heard alot of good things. You’re right in line where I am, his border stuff is the only thing that makes me take pause, but I can support the guy.
