Palin said today on Hannity radio that she’s merely reloading and has a heavy schedule of public appearances, and thinks she can be more influential (for now) as an independent person.

Why does this remind me of Burt Gummer saying to Earl in Tremors II "No I've been real busy, lotsa projects, lucky you caught me at home".

I just can't see how Sarah's influence/importance doesn't shrink very quickly (at least for this election cycle). Why would anybody contribute to SarahPAC now?

Well, I have $200 I was saving to donate to Palin’s presidential run. I’m now mailing it to SarahPac tomorrow. But yes, I don’t doubt it will take a hit.

“I just can’t see how Sarah’s influence/importance doesn’t shrink very quickly...”

We’ll just have to wait and see. On Hannity Sarah rattled off some interesting political stuff. I think she will continue to be able to grab people’s attention. She still has that powerful mind and ability to express her thoughts clearly and inspiringly. That’s what got her to the point she’s at now.

I think you are very wrong, her influence will be more than it was before.

We will contribute to Sarahpac to renew that influence, and have her donate to the conservative candidates that will put a whoop ass on the Rats next year.
