I would agree, in theory, with you. He is clinically narcissistic in my opinion, and if he subconsciously thinks there is a real chance at failure, his personality may work very hard at developing a reason he has to step down.

I agree about his personality defect, not unlike slick willy who was in love with the sound of his voice. He is also a Mama's boy who takes orders from Moochelle as near as I can tell. I look for him to have some kind of a feigned illness to beg off the reelection bid.
