Well fr_freak...not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not but just an FYI. One (just one) idiot next door to me has one of those cannabis cards which allows him to grow ‘X” amount of plants....he’s exceeded that! Also, it allows him to have in his possession “X” amount of grams of which not be in the category of “intent to sell/distribute...he’s also wellllll exceeded based on the number of plant he has growing.

So yes, I dropped a dime on his ass as he’s in violation of state law. Newsflash....one plant is a violation of fedral law! Anything else??

If your neighbor has more than his allotted plants, or is selling, then he is violating state law, which means that your local or even state police would be happy to bust the guy. Where I live, the locals hate prop 215 and so will bust someone in a heartbeat who ever-so-slightly exceeds the limits. Your area may be more left-wing, but I wouldn't be surprised if the local cops would love to hear about violations.

You, however, decided that siccing a federal agency on your neighbor was the way to go, IN DIRECT VIOLATION of state law in favor of federal law. Well, not only does that smack of statism, but if the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution means nothing, why should any of us care what some federal law regarding pot use says?

I feel for you, Kevin. Potheads are dangerous creeps and you shouldn’t have to put up with that in your own neighborhood - especially next door! Do what you need to do to take care of the problem and good luck to you.
