This is what I was saying about the tigers being a come from behind team.

Pretty had to come back at this point but they haven’t given up. In fact they took an 8 run lead away from the White sox in the 9th inning a couple weeks ago.

Rangers finally beat the Rays at home, they lost the two home games against them last year.

Rangers are very comfortable at the Trop.

Kinda hoping for a full series to avoid too much time off. In 06, the Tigers beat the Yankees so fast that they ended up with a 12 day break before the world series and I think it hurt them.

I think I remember that long break in 2006...

It was a huge loss for the Tigers to lose a Verlander start.

Nova pitched great for the Yankees, but Verlander is in a class by himself. Verlander could have pitched 1 and 5, which could have been the difference.

Verlander is pretty much two sure fire wins. Now its up to offense to get two wins.

Verlander will pitch tomorrow. If things had gone as planned, verlander would have gotten two games in the playoffs and two games in the world series. Scherzer is OK for an oddity.

Detroit wins game two in NY 5-3 for one game apiece.
