I thought once I'd made a mistake but if I could be wrong then I would have been.

I had always heard about people making mistakes and how bad it made them feel. Then, late last year, I made a mistake. It felt awful. Now I know what they mean. I hope it never happens again.

Change of pace ping.

So who's been better at learning from their mistakes?

Obama or Palin?

I work with a jerk who gets andry, defensive and hostile whe SHE makes a mistake.

But if you put a period up-side-down in a sentence, she will send an e mail to you (including the whole office) about everything you did wrong from the day your mom brought you home from the hospital.

What if I’m missing a few pieces from my Mind Set?

I believe that my intelligence is fixed.

But my ability to learn is infinite. (providing that I live forever.)

***When someone makes a mistake, their brain makes two quick signals: an initial response that indicates something has gone awry—Moser calls it the “’oh crap’ response”***

My “oh crap” response is very well developed! LOL!

The willingness and ability to repent is a core Christian value. Now we are starting to see how beneficial it is to being able to grow and break out of unproductive and damaging behaviors.

The more narcissistic a person is the more difficult it is to repent because the act repudiates their carefully maintained image of themselves.

Making a mistake is one thing, knowing you made it is another thing but admitting to whomever that you made the mistake is what purges your soul from the guilt that should be there......,.
