If I could just keep Lum or Abner from listening in I would happy. Oh well maybe Fibber will call and we can gossip a little in private.
That is surprising. I figured you would us smoke....
My iPhone has a rotary dialer:
Just one example- I was about half-way going between Vegas and Reno and my friend's engine started pinging and stalling at low rpm about an hour after filling up. The nearest station was 50 miles away (found instantly with my phone's GPS).
Within minutes in the middle of the desert, I downloaded the service manual for his car and was able to get the ECU to flash me a hidden trouble code(similar to morse code). It was a faulty knock sensor combined with bad gas. We found exactly which jumper to pull to override the sensor and run the car at a safe ignition timing all the way to Reno .
It is fully programmable so the things you can do with this thing are only limited by the imagination.
That’s pretty cool.. If I was heading through the desert, I may need one.. as it is, I am 10 min without internet on the way to work, and when I go on trips, (mostly know my way) I like to use maps, I like plotting my own route.
I guess I just give up the extra capability of cell internet.. I have an hp pad if I hit a wifi hotspot.. but obviously wouldn’t have helped in your situation..
The foreign version of the Samsung Galaxy please.
What do you take me for, some kind of Luddite? Now you'll have to excuse me, I have to get back to the cuneiform tablet I'm reading.
Photos I take are already automatically loaded to my Google account for free, Google Music streams my music, all upgrades have been OTA.
Apple took the notification center straight from Android. They did improve it in some ways, but the idea was there for a good long while.
When my old MyTouch, yeah the original very slow one, was updated to Android 2.2, it had full voice capability without using any outside apps. I could text, search, navigate etc just by holding down the search button for a second then speaking.
I now have a newer phone and the voice control still works great, just faster.
30,000 apps for Android, are you sure about that number?
It may be a game changer but it’s not coming out this year, that’s for sure.
