Now you are lying. You know for a fact I've posted half a dozen examples of News reports indicating Obama was foreign born. There are two videos by Michelle saying he was "Kenyan", There is a video of Obama himself saying it was good to be back "home". (he was in Kenya at the time.) National Public Radio even reported that Obama was born in Kenya, before they scrubbed it. If it weren't for screen capture, we wouldn't even have any proof they did it!
Chris Matthews of "Hard Ball" asserts Obama was born in Indonesia on December 18, 2007, That woman who is the Washington Bureau chief for the Chicago Sun-times reported years ago that Obama told her he lived in Kenya as a child, the list goes on and on and on and on...
As for your cites from earlier reports where he said differently, they don't prove he wasn't lying later. I think the man will say anything he thinks is politically expedient.
For whatever reason, either Obama misleading reporters, or reporters misleading themselves, the Public which read their stuff got the idea that Obama was foreign born. True or not, that is what many people thought, (and many still do today.) Till THAT question was answered satisfactorily, there was no point in worrying about any further disqualification of this jack@ss.
Ah, I think I see the problem. I'll take this slow for you.
You wrote: "Obama led everyone to believe that he was foreign born for years prior to running for President."
Now, "Obama" is what we call the 'subject' of this sentence. "Led" is the verb. As constructed, when you say "Obama led," you are saying that Obama is the actor who did something. Following me so far?
Now for that assertion to be supported, you would have to have examples of OBAMA saying he was foreign born. Not Chris Matthews. Not NPR. Not "news reports." Obama. Otherwise, you can't say "Obama led everyone." And the BEST you can seem to do in terms of Obama telling people he was "foreign born" was Obama referring to his father's home country as his "home" while he was visiting there.
Again, I hope this isn't too complicated for you.
You further write that Obama did this "for years prior to running for President." Now I know that Birthers often have trouble with their memories prior to June 2008, but Obama started running for President in February 2007. And because you say he did this "prior to running for President," that would mean he did this prior to February 2007. And all of your examples except two come AFTER February 2007, DURING his Presidential campaign. And even those two were from just six months before he declared, when he was clearly contemplating a run. If you're suggesting that he changed his backstory after he started running for President, it's only hurting your argument for your examples to come while he was running for President.
Now I provided four documented examples of Obama specifically being identified as being BORN in Hawaii prior to 2007, spread out over the course of 15 years. Not merely being referred to as "Hawaiian" or calling Hawaiih his home, but specific references to Hawaii as his place of BIRTH. One of those examples came directly from Obama himself. The best YOU can do is Obama saying "I am so proud to come back home" to some people in Kenya, and Obama saying that he DIDN'T have a childhood in Kenya.
So what's your thesis here? That Obama said he was born in Hawaii from 1990 to 2004, then made undocumented claims that he was "foreign born" between 2004 and 2007, and then went back to claiming he was born in Hawaii in 2007? And you believe Obama did this in the absence of any good examples of Obama ever saying he was born anywhere other than Hawaii?
"That woman who is the Washington Bureau chief for the Chicago Sun-times reported years ago that Obama told her he lived in Kenya as a child,"
It's not surprising that you would leave out the details for that one. Because she didn't say that Obama said he grew up in Kenya; he said that he had more of a childhood in Indonesia than in Kenya. Which is absolutely true. But given your grammar issues above, I can see how it could confuse you.
