Like your post, Scythian. I like Natural News. I am not against all vaccines, just the way they are administered. My daughter is doing an alternative schedule for vaccines for her new baby. No vaccines until age one, and then only one vaccine at a time. Some vaccines really are unnecessary. There is a vaccine for babies for Rotavirus which can be treated successfully with probiotics! Now why would I want to give my baby a vaccine for something that can be resolved with something natural such as a probiotic ~ yogurt?!

IIRC, good hygiene (hand washing, soap and water) and cleanliness alone will prevent many cases of Rotavirus.
What ticks me off is those who equate that unnecessary vaccine for Rotavirus with saying no to a vaccine for a disease that is easily spread through casual contact AND causes high numbers of death and severe disability AND that one is likely to be exposed to.
