Hm, I dunno... There’s a *LOT* of blatently contra-constitutional stuff going on (BATFE & TSA for example) and then there’s the odd case where the feds are trying to toss out a law [in OK, I think] that prohibits Sharia Law (and foreign law) from being used in the State’s legal systems.

Yes, but even if Shariah law starts to be implemented in some communities, and they start being barbaric and enforcing their laws, Americans won’t stand for it. Not even the craziest left wing kook(maybe I’m exaggerating a bit here).
