Anything by Jefferson Starship. OK, they’re not exactly metal but I had to get that off my chest.

Nothing to disagree with on that list...

I seem to remember back in the late 70s/early 80s Cher did a heavy metal album......yeah, it should have been on this list.

Fire the keyboard player!?!?!?!?!

Oh, that’s right, no good heavy metal songs or bands had keyboards. Quick, somebody tell Deep Purple and Steppenwolf that they need to fire the keyboardists!

Effin Moron!

I have to disagree with “Bark at the Moon.”

I agree with them on the Guns&Roses album plus a couple more of theirs as well and all the Van Halen albums with Sammy Hagar. I am guessing that when Sammy had his alien abduction they stole the part of his brain that came up with good guitar licks. And as for Kiss' “The Elder” I have no idea what they were thinking when they recorded that. I could think of several speed, thrash, and death metal albums that they over looked. Then there are several over hyped grunge metal albums that should have made the list. If I had to list one that should have been on there for me it would have been Led Zeppelin's “In Through The Out Door”. I know it is the final album as a band and Bonzo’s last Swan Song(Pun intended for their record label) but besides “In The Evening” the rest of it for me was not listenable or worth my time to spend learning the songs for guitar. I think I only played the second side of it twice. But does one see Led Zeppelin as Heavy Metal or just a Rock-N-Roll?

I guess it depends on if they were looking at bands that were considered Heavy Metal bands and albums that was supposed to chart and didn't or looking just at record sales alone as a guide line. Hopefully they had actually bought the album went home and put it on gave it a listen and said never again. Which the last is my criteria for a bad album.

I disagree with Black Sabbath's “Never Say Die” being on the list. It has some good tunes on it. I know Ozzy was flaking out on them at the time but the album over all is pretty good. Aa far as Iron Maiden's “Fear Of The Dark” I thought from a song writer's POV it has some great hooks on several of the songs. Is it their strongest album no but some good tunes on it.

Without sitting down and going through a ton of material it would be very hard for me to come up with a worst top 10 of metal albums. I guess one would need a guide line of did it ever make the top 100 and work from there up of metal bands that had made the top 100 then start sorting them out. Then there is 4 decades of material to look it. It would be a daunting task.

And yet, Kiss followed up “Elder” with one of their best albums, “Creatures of the Night”. I play that CD regularly to this day.

8) Motley Crue - Motley Crue: Along those lines, who buys a Motley Crue album for John Corabi? At least, the band didn't waste any good songs on their new singer. What kind of world is it where you wish Vince Neil would come back?

This was actually a great album. They just should not have called the band Motley Crue at this point. Thats what ruined it. Generation Swine? Now there's a piece of crappola.

Purchase instead: High ‘n' Dry and a case of Aqua-Net hairspray.

That statement makes me question the author's cred. "High n dry" was released in 1981. Pre - aqua net. It is perhaps one of the greatest rock records of all time.

I competely disagree with “Chinese Democracy”, it definitely is not a terrible ablum, in fact, it has some really good songs on it.

Listen to this song and tell me it’s bad, I could list 5 others from that ablum you’d like:

as far as I can tell every record on that list arguably deserves to be on such as list, from the ones I know. Never Say Die was a record which I wish I had never bought.

What’s the worst Ed Wood film, Kenny G. Album, Thomas Kinkade painting or Danielle Steele novel? To find out and decide, you’d have to experience the sludge of it all. No thanks!
