Somewhere around the 8th or 9th season the writing quality cratered - likely due to the departure of Conan O'Brien. The predictable, preachy liberal crap soon followed, and I stopped watching. I'm amazed the show is still going. I watch South Park these days, which grosses me out sometimes, but the writing is still highly creative and on occasion, gut-bustingly funny.
