I doubt any thinking person is swayed by straw polls. Everyone knows they are only a measure of organizational strength within the state, and have no bearing on the electability of the candidates.
Bachmann won the Iowa straw poll (arguably the best known and most influential) and she is just about to disappear from the race. Ron Paul has won a couple and he isn't going anywhere.
I'm glad Herman Cain won the Florida straw poll, but I don't think it is indicative of his future success as a candidate.

Iowa straw poll (arguably the best known and most influential) Actually the Iowa poll is open to anyone who buys a ticket. so it should not be considered influential at all. FLA straw poll is actual GOP activists so it cannot be spammed by non GOP voters bused in by campaigns.
