Yeah, because most ex felons are simply looking for an honest line of work, right?

I have known dozens of felons over the years and most have been decent people who screwed up in their past, usually with drugs, and yes, I believe most felons ARE simply looking for honest work, especially if they’re 40+ years old.

If a person committed a felony and 20+ years later it is still being held against them, I find that unfair and wrong. If a person commits a crime, send him/her to jail. Once he/she serves their time, they have paid their debt to society, and it should no longer be held against them, at all. They should be able to vote, to own a gun, and to be a normal citizen, once they have served their time.

I find my position logical and fair.
