I like Perry, and have doubts that he will win at all. If he does, fine. If he doesn’t, hopefully we’ll get some other conservative who can rise to the occasion.
One thing Perry proved is that the door was open to this race a LONG time ago, and people who wanted to lead conservatives and save us from Romney and Obama should have been entering that door a long time ago. There’s still time, but there’s only one candidate I can think of who could enter the race now and not get the same treatment Perry received.
Perry’s a lier. He intended the story about the girl to be confused with the signing. He also lied about the money Merck paid him. Claims it was 5000. In fact Merck paid him more than 100,000 by laundering it through the Republican Governors Association.
