Patton. Great film but full of anachronisms, mainly regarding the military equipment the filmmakers utilized. Not much to do about that though. There just wasn't a surplus of serviceable WWII-era German tanks. Today they could digitalize them. Couldn't do that back in 1970. No other choice but to paint modern tanks as WWII ones and hope most viewers wouldn't be bothered.

“Patton” like “Kelly’s Heroes” I think was filmed in Yugoslavia, for some reason they had the largest amount of W.W. II era equipment left over that still worked.

Patton. Great film but full of anachronisms, mainly regarding the military equipment the filmmakers utilized. As with "The Battle of the Bulge," you hire the Spanish army and you get what you get. At least the German bombers that strafe Patton at the beginning are the later Spanish version of the German He-111 design.
