Wouldn’t it be easier and much shorter of a list to post accurate historical movies? (still can’t think of one).

You mean little Steve McQueen wasn't tooling around Germany on a stolen motorcycle?

There were 76 prisoners who initially escaped but none of them were Americans. They had been moved to a separate camp and thus missed out on the Great Escape.

Except no Americans were involved.
I think I read that they were added so American audiences would watch the film.
