My Wife is Palestinian and Grew up in France and she says this kind of talk is all too common with the Imams who have a chip on their shoulder against the West, sad really, because when I visited over there to see my wife's people, there were some very nice couples over there, all we ever get too see is the Hate, Mostly because these Powerful Imams profit greatly from it by getting a S*** ton of Media deals and attention.

The imams not only have Israel and the west, they hate everyone who is not Muslim. They have Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, Animists.

There is a significant number of residents here of Algerian or other Arab/Berber extraction who wants to integrate into French society and who fear and loathe the ghetto-Arab freeloaders as much as any white/Gallian/Catholic French person does. Often they are nominally Muslim but send their children to (nominally) Catholic private schools (as these are some of the best places to be in terms of the whole bourgeois-French social network generation for the rest of one's life).

The problem is that Islam, in its original form, is simply not compatible with what we hold dear in the West. Arabs and others who grew up Muslim but who make an earnest effort to fit into Western societies retain at most a confessional badge (i.e., "Yeah, my family's Muslim" and then change the subject or say, "I'm not very religious) and even then they often end up in serious conflict with themselves or parts of their families which can become very painful and protracted if they do not resign themselves to "escaping from Islam" wholesale. I have seen this time and again.
