You peaked my curiosity. I think it was Christmas or New Years the country music channel ran a marathon of the whole first season. I enjoyed it and my wife laughed because I was able to tell her what the episode was about in the first five minutes of each episode. I have the same gift for episodes of the Twilight Zone. I will have to see if I can get Dallas on Netflix and see what happened after I gave up.

Well, I have to warn you, the show deteriorated in quality from the mid to late ‘80s. I still stuck with it right up to the end in 1991, though. They had gimmicks later on like having Larry Hagman’s old “I Dream Of Jeannie” co-star, Barbara Eden, as a nemesis (they brought her to the show when Larry refused to participate in the “Jeannie” reunion movie). Most of the original cast had departed by the end, basically just leaving Bobby & J.R. (and poor Bobby had lost another wife by then — shot by none other than Susan Lucci (!) in a guest appearance).
